CCS Boys Basketball District Champions

The CCS boys basketball team won the DII A District 2 title this weekend with a convincing win over district rival Notre Dame.  Although the game was close the first half and tied at 28 at halftime, the Chargers ran away from the Irish late opening up  and never looked back defeating the Irish 58-40

CCS Wrestlers Heading to State

The Charger Wrestling team competed this past weekend in the individual region tournament. Four Chargers won, qualifying them for the TSSAA State tournament. The CCS Charger wrestling team won the DII Duel Invitational meet this past weekend. CCS junior guard John Rhodes passed the 1000 point mark Saturday, Dec. 27 in the Chargers victory over Howard. John had a career high of 34 points this year against Grace Academy. John has a 2 sport athlete for CCS and is committed to play baseball at the University of Kentucky upon graduation. Congratulations John!
