CCS hosted 47 schools and over 500 athletes for the TSSAA Sectional Meet. Our boys 4×800 will move on with a competitive time and a chance to place top 5 in A-AA. Stephen Cone (Junior), Edimo Ninteretse (Freshmen), Micaiah Allison (Senior), and Matthew Broussard (Senior) will battle again Friday May 26th at MTSU. CCS Boys have not competed at State since 2013.

Monday May 22nd LB Turner will compete at MTSU in the State Pentathlon to start off our week strong. Laura Beth will return to MTSU on Thursday to compete in the 4×200 and 4×400. She will be joined by senior Cassie Curry who returns for her second year in a row in the high jump. Cassie will also compete in the 4×200 and 4×400. Freshmen Anslee McGlocklin will run lead off in the 4×200. Sarah OShea (Sophomore) will come out of the blocks in the 4×400. Olivia Hoffman (Junior) will return for her third year in a row to compete at State. She will run the 4×200, 400-meter dash, and the 4×400 meter relay. Our girl’s relay teams, 4×200 and 4×400, are seeded number one in A-AA and have a strong chance to be State Champions.
